This Roriz from Quinta da Pacheca has clearly enjoyed a rather indulgent teenage phase in French oak – a full 16 months to really refine its character. The result is a wonderfully concentrated wine, bursting with the intensity of ripe red berries, hinting at a delightfully passionate profile. Those generous, rounded tannins suggest a graceful aging potential, perfectly suited to a succulent grilled fish or perhaps a slow-roasted lamb.
