Muxagat Este This wine is made from grapes planted at elevations between 500 m and 600 m. Hand‑picked, the grapes are taken straight to the cellar where they go directly into granite presses, without destemming. The traditional foot‑crushing is carried out for three hours, and after two or three days of maceration the must moves to French oak and Austrian Tonel barrels, where fermentation finishes. After a two‑year maturation period the wine is bottled. Following bottling, it undergoes a three‑year bottle ageing, as shown by the wine’s development. Allergen information: Contains sulfites.
