“This Quinta da Pellada wine is a passionate declaration of the Dão’s complexity, born from vines dating back over 70 years. Carefully selected amongst around 40 indigenous grape varieties, the grapes thrived in granite and sandy soils, nourished by the cool night breezes – a key element in achieving their remarkable freshness and minerality. The result is a deeply ruby-coloured wine, boasting aromas of raspberry and black cherry, beautifully balanced with floral notes of violet and a subtle influence from 28 months in French oak barrels.
