This Talhão from Quinta da Perdonda is a genuine trip to the heart of the Dão – a wonderfully earthy and vibrant experience. Predominantly made with Jaén, alongside Trincadeira and Baga, it delivers a fantastic acidity. Hints of ripe black fruit, reminiscent of a relaxed Sunday picnic, are provided by the Bastardo grape. Seriously, this one’s fantastic with beef or a nice black pork dish.
