The estate’s story is already rooted in the work of three generations; however, it was only in 1989, under Mário Sérgio’s guidance, that the bottling and sale of Quinta das Bágeiras wines began, quickly establishing the winery as a benchmark for Bairrada wines and for Portugal as a whole. Though crafted according to the traditions of previous generations, the wines of Quinta das Bágeiras are not fleeting fads—they remain perpetually in style, revealing the character of the region and the people who produce them with every harvest.
