Right then, let’s have a go with that. This Quinta das Brolhas Reserva is certainly making a statement – that deep purple hue hinting at a seriously impressive experience. You get ripe cherry and blackcurrant notes, beautifully intertwined with a wonderfully smooth body, thanks to a blend of Tinta Barroca, Sousão, and Touriga Nacional. Apparently, it suggests a leisurely afternoon in the Douro Valley, and frankly, it’s a fantastic match for a really good, hearty beef stew.
