The Impressionist is the first edition of Quinta das Carvalhas Tawny 80 Years, a unique and very limited creation made from port wines that date back to the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. It is a deeply complex and concentrated Port, with remarkable balance and exceptional character, the result of selecting outstanding Port wines and ageing them for an extended period in the finest oak barrels. Real Companhia Velha is Portugal’s oldest and most emblematic wine company, with more than 258 years of uninterrupted service to Port wine. Its history is fabulous and its past, glorious. Looking ahead, the company remains committed to maintaining a high standard of quality and to its vision of making even more history, a constant concern that drives its rigor.
