The careful use of 40% new French oak has imbued it with a sophisticated elegance, and we suspect it’s hoping for a good run – especially when paired with something rich, like a braised rabbit or a substantial roast. It’s certainly a wine that’s aiming for longevity, and we wouldn't be surprised if it still has a few surprises up its sleeve after a decade or two.”
