On the palate it reveals great volume and intensity, balanced by a vibrant freshness that holds everything together. The finish is long, persistent and elegant, showcasing the complexity of the wine. Sogrape Vinhos was founded in 1942 by Fernando van Zeller Guedes, with the ambition of introducing Portuguese wines to the world and a long-term vision built on the quality of the wines it markets, the importance of brand innovation, and the presentation of its wines. In 1980, Sogrape Vinhos acquired Honra de Azevedo, located in the parish of Lama, Barcelos, one of the oldest and most magnificent manor houses in Portugal, dating back to the 11th century. After four years of renovation and requalification of the manor house, it is today a space dedicated to the culture and production of the Alvarinho and Loureiro grape varieties, impressive varietals of the Vinhos Verdes Region, with more than 30 hectares of planted vineyards.
