The Quinta dos Carapeços Espadeiro Rosé is made with manual harvesting, with grapes transported in 15‑kg buckets to the cellar. Upon arrival they are crushed and destemmed. Fermentation occurs at 16 °C for 15 days, followed by four months of ageing in stainless‑steel tanks. Espadeiro is a characteristic grape of the Vinho Verde region, formerly known as “Tinta dos Pobres,” and is highly prized and valued today.
