Quinta do Banco tinto is produced from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Sousão, with roughly 80 % of the batch aging in stainless‑steel tanks and the remaining 20 % in French oak barrels. On the palate, ripe red fruit aromas with spice notes shine through, finishing with the softness of rounded tannins. The first references to Quinta das Cabanas date back to the 18th century, when it was involved with the General Company of Agriculture of the Vineyards of the Upper Douro and marked as No. 18 of the 1756 Pombaline Demarcations. Today the owning family also owns other estates in the Baixo Corgo sub‑region, totaling about 90 ha of vines aged 25–35 years planted with native varieties.
