Quinta do Crasto A premium monovarietal wine that is only bottled in years when the harvest reaches a high level of quality and excellence, allowing the grape to fully express its potential. Touriga Franca is a challenging variety because it only reaches its true potential when it achieves perfect phenolic maturity. Therefore, Quinta do Crasto Touriga Franca is a late‑maturing wine, meaning the grapes require ample time to reach proper and complete ripening. **Winemaking** The grapes, sourced from the finest Touriga Franca plots at Quinta do Crasto, were transported in 22‑kg crates and subjected to rigorous sorting upon arrival at the cellar. After complete destemming and a light crushing, the must was transferred to temperature‑controlled stainless‑steel fermentation tanks. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, a gentle pressing was performed.
