Following careful destemming, fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, ensuring precise control. The result is a remarkably complex and elegant wine, matured for 18 months in 85% French and 15% American oak barrels. Robert Parker awarded it 91/100 – a score well worth raising a glass to, especially when paired with a perfectly grilled beef dish, celebrating the very soul of the Douro Valley.
