Winemaking: The grapes, sourced from the best parcels of Touriga Nacional, were brought to the winery in 25‑kg plastic crates, where they are rigorously inspected at a sorting table. The grapes were first stomped in a traditional stone vat (“lagar”) and then transferred to an open stainless‑steel tank, where the cap was pressed with robotic pistons. Fermentation lasted 10 days under strict temperature control. After fermentation, the grapes were gently pressed with hydraulic presses. The wine aged for 16 months in 225‑liter French oak barrels.
