Quinta do Estanho dates back to the first wine demarcation, “De Feitoria,” in 1757. It is located on the left bank of the Rio Pinhão at an average altitude of 300 metres. The estate has been producing quality wines for several generations. In 1987 its owner, Jaime Acácio Queiroz Cardoso, became the second producer‑bottler‑exporter in the entire Douro, selling his wines directly to domestic and international markets.
