Quinta do Gradil The soils are clayey, with some clay‑sandy patches and good drainage. Wide slopes at the foot of the Montejunto Mountains provide excellent sun exposure, and its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean imparts natural acidity. The wine is hand‑harvested, carefully selected, and fermented in small stainless‑steel tanks at 25 °C. It is aged for eight months in French oak barrels and twelve months in bottle.
