Quinta do Gradil Reserva Red is made from Syrah, Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet, offering complex aromas of truffles, ripe forest fruits and balsamic nuances. On the palate it delivers silky, balanced tannins, Atlantic freshness, and a long, persistent finish. The Quinta has been part of Portuguese wine history since 1492, but it was only in the 17th century that the vines and wine became integral to the estate’s economy. A decisive moment came in the 19th century when Dona Maria do Carmo Romeiro da Fonseca inherited the property, transforming it into a leading agricultural enterprise focused on wine production. Today, Quinta do Gradil remains a Portuguese benchmark in the world, now led by Luís Vieira.
