This “Saltimbancos” Sauvignon Blanc from Quinta do Gradil certainly doesn’t pull any punches. It begins with a remarkably fresh asparagus burst, followed by intriguing exotic notes that keep you guessing. The lingering opulence, underscored by a pronounced black pepper character and hints of smoke from barrel aging, demands a slow, considered tasting. Seriously refreshing, and utterly delightful with a grilled fish and some roasted potatoes – a perfect pairing, really.
