The white wine from Quinta do Gradil is crafted from Sauvignon Blanc and Arinto grapes. The blend of the two varieties is clearly expressed in its aroma and taste, with tropical fruit, asparagus, and gentle vegetal notes from the Sauvignon Blanc, and citrus highlights from the Arinto. It presents a light, balanced, appealing, and enjoyable profile at the moment of tasting. Quinta do Gradil has been part of the history of Portuguese wines since 1492. However, it was only in the 17th century that the vineyard and wine became part of the estate’s economic activity. It was in the 19th century that a decisive moment occurred, when Dona Maria do Carmo Romeiro da Fonseca inherited the Quinta do Gradil from her father, transforming it into a leading agricultural enterprise focused on wine production. Many years have passed, and Quinta do Gradil remains a Portuguese reference worldwide, now led by Luís Vieira. (illustrative image only)
