Quinta Do Mondego Munda Tinta Roriz Tinto

Description

This is a seriously impressive Tinta Roriz – a real echo of the Dão’s exuberance. Initially, you’re hit with dark fruit, particularly blackberries, alongside a hint of blueberry and a subtle touch of blackcurrant, clearly showing the grapes were perfectly ripe. It’s got pine notes too, and a lovely balsamic complexity on the finish. A full-bodied wine with good structure, and frankly, it’s begging for a hearty roast.
