This Arinto and Fernão, from Quinta do Monte Alegre, clearly enjoyed a gentle embrace with the grapes. The light maceration speaks volumes about a careful approach to the fruit, and the low-temperature fermentation ensures the inherent elegance of these native Portuguese varieties remains beautifully preserved. It’s a refreshingly delicate wine – ideal with grilled fish or a summer salad, with the flavours deepening wonderfully with bottle ageing.
