Quinta Do Penedo Tinto

This Quinta do Penedo wine, boasting a lovely balance of Touriga Nacional and the intriguing sweetness of Alfrocheiro, certainly seems to have had a bit of a story to tell. The fermentation, combined with ageing in both French and American oak – a detail noted by Wine Enthusiast (90 points!), – has resulted in a remarkably full-bodied structure. Expect deep ruby colour and floral, resinous aromas, leading to a powerful and lingering finish. It’s a fantastic match for a hearty beef roast, really.
