This Encruzado from Quinta Dona Sancha, grown on the Avarenta vineyard, certainly has a mischievous personality. Crafted with painstaking hand-harvesting in 20kg boxes, it presents a remarkably pale hue, brimming with citrus and floral notes – a hint of orange blossom and honey, naturally. The acidity is a proper force of nature, beautifully balanced by a wonderfully smooth texture. Seriously, it’s begging for a perfectly grilled fish – a match made in wine heaven, really.
