Quinta dos Castelares To create this wine, we harvested the white grapes of the Códega do Larinho from old vines at the Quinta dos Castelares estate, located in Freixo de Espada à Cinta, a sub‑region of the Superior Douro, at an average altitude of 600 metres. Xistosos soils and typical terraces of the Douro. Manual harvest. Gentle pressing of whole bunches. Fermentation at a controlled temperature of 16 °C. Part of it was fermented in French oak barrels with “battage sur lies.” Staged in stainless steel until bottling. Allergen information: contains sulfites.
