This rosé from Quinta dos Penassais bursts onto the scene with a frankly dazzling colour and a nose that immediately promises delightful things – the Alfroucheiro, Trincadeira and Touriga Nacional blending beautifully. It’s surprisingly fresh, recalling the Dão hills, with a lingering finish that demands a second glass. Seriously delicious with grilled fish or smoked salmon, if you’ll indulge me.
