“Since 1986, Quinta dos Poços has been crafting a wine with a distinct personality, a true reflection of the Mesquita Guimarães family’s vision. This MG XXI, produced from a single 3,000-litre lot, yielded a remarkably focused result – 3,678 750ml bottles plus a few larger ones, totaling 3,425. A modest quantity, perhaps, but one that brilliantly showcases the potential of the Touriga Nacional, Tinta Francisca, and Sousão grapes, thriving beautifully in this terroir. It’s a fantastic accompaniment to a hearty roast and a particularly characterful cheese.”
