Description

Made from the Arinto, Sauvignon Blanc, and Encruzado grape varieties, it displays a citrine hue with golden flutes, aromas of white‑fleshed fruit and mineral notes, blended with subtle, well‑integrated oak nuances. On the palate it offers intense freshness and a pleasing body, finishing long and persistent. Quinta do Porto Nogueira was founded in 1738, in the early 18th century, and remained in the same family’s ownership until the mid‑20th century. The current owners acquired it at the beginning of the 21st century. The 20 hectares of vineyards are planted on clay soils shaped by the natural microclimate at the foot of the Serra de Todo-o-Mundo and by proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, about 20 km away. A dry‑irrigated vineyard that showcases unique characteristics, unrivaled freshness, and natural salinity. Consequently, the wines are marked by this singularity. (illustrative image only)
