Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a place of extraordinary beauty in the heart of the Douro, owned by the Amorim family since 1999. The family’s connection to wine dates back far, through their ties to export houses in Vila Nova de Gaia via the cork trade, but in recent years that link has turned into the realization of a dream, and the project is now in the hands of the fourth generation.
