This wine from Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a delightfully bold demonstration that tradition doesn't have to be predictable. Built from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Aragonez and a touch of Tinto Cão, it offers an immediate, powerful attack – a clear promise of the rich Matosinhos character to come. The French oak has subtly smoothed the grapes’ edges, while retaining the Quinta’s signature structure, a detail carefully overseen by Architect Arnaldo Barbosa in the historic 1764 cellars. It’s a truly impressive wine, best paired with a hearty beef stew to fully accentuate its intensity.
