“This Melgaço, a beautiful blend of Travadouro and Alvarinho grapes, has been gently handled – they clearly value the subtlety of the fruit. Following a brief skin contact to preserve freshness, the wine rested for 8-12 hours to allow its soul to develop. Fermentation then took place carefully at 16-18°C, with a lengthy 3-month maturation in stainless steel, regularly stirring the lees. The result is a wonderfully refreshing wine with a vibrant acidity, ideal for pairing with freshly grilled seafood or simply as a delicious seaside snack.”
