We select brands/regions that usually reveal distinct characteristics in tastings of old wines. However, we note that wine is a living organism that, even while sealed, its aromas evolve over time. Therefore Garrafeira Nacional cannot be held responsible for the product’s quality, as it is an aged wine. Our recommendation is to open the bottle and let the wine aerate first, as this helps release its natural aromas after many years closed.
