Having been linked to the José de Mello family for several generations, Monte da Ravasqueira is located in the municipality of Arraiolos, an hour’s drive from Lisbon, and covers a vast area of typical Alentejo landscape, whose management and exploitation are overseen by the D. Diniz Agricultural Society, SA. Boasting excellent geological and climatic conditions for producing the finest wines that Alentejo can offer, Monte da Ravasqueira has received substantial investment in vineyard planting, as well as in enological equipment and meteorological and phytosanitary facilities. The investments made at Monte da Ravasqueira also include a range of infrastructure to support the development of an enotourism project. Committed to producing wines of distinctive quality, Monte da Ravasqueira also engages in a range of other activities related to cork, olive oil, honey, cattle breeding, and the fattening of Alentejo black pork.
