This Quinta Várzea da Pedra Reserva, a delightful Lisboa red, is a little unexpected. It beautifully marries the brightness of Arinto with the sweetness of Fernão Pires, underpinned by Touriga Nacional’s characteristic structure and a hint of herbaceousness recalling the surrounding Serra. Remarkably, this vineyard seems to know what it’s doing – evidenced by its gold medal at the Wine Awards 2022.
