Rola Rosé

Description

This Rola Rosé, straight from the Douro, is a boldly ambitious wine in the glass. Built around the Touriga Nacional’s structure and the Aragonez’s added complexity, it bursts with vibrant salmon hues and a fresh red berry aroma, underpinned by a distinctive Douro granite minerality. The result is a remarkably creamy wine with firm tannins and a lingering finish – perfect alongside sushi or sashimi, or perhaps a simply grilled fish. Created by Ana Rola in collaboration with Helga Rodrigues, who’s famously on a quest for “original and complex wines,” this Douro offering truly celebrates the region’s exceptional terroir, a recognised UNESCO World Heritage site.
