This Rola Viosinho is surprisingly vibrant, emerging from pneumatic pressing with a wonderfully cool freshness. The signature Douro minerality is immediately apparent, hinting at a lively acidity – perfect alongside grilled white fish or, perhaps, a plate of freshly shucked oysters. Remarkably, only 1150 bottles of this discovery are made, suggesting a producer with a rather particular fondness for this fascinating grape.
