Salia is the Latin name of a river in Cantabria, the Saja, a reference to the origins of Víctor de la Serna’s family, the driving force behind Finca Sandoval. In this vintage we find a blend of Syrah and Bobal, with Garnacha introduced as a new component sourced from old vines in Ledaña. The winery itself calls it its “village wine.”
