The Sandeman Pedro Ximénez displays an appealing, intense mahogany colour, a result of its own origin and oxidation ageing, and very pronounced “tears” in the glass due to its high density. Intense aromas of dried fruit—grapes, figs and dates—linger on the nose, followed by a pleasant sweet flavour on the palate. The finish is long, clean, with a persistent, rich aftertaste.
