The nose is utterly captivating, a beautiful interplay of aged caramel and a surprising, delicate acidity, alongside classic walnut notes characteristic of a truly exceptional tawny. On the palate, the vibrant acidity, thanks to the Tinto Cão, beautifully balances the wine’s richness, and it’s absolutely begging for a pairing with a good aged sheep’s cheese.
