Schieferkopf Riesling Lieu-Dit Fels Branco

Michel Chapoutier’s Schieferkopf collection demonstrates the Ribera del Rin’s potential for crafting great white wines. The grapes come from small vineyard plots around the commune of Bernardvillé, a village near the Camino de Santiago. We are looking at a “parcel wine,” whose most striking feature is the shallow soil that enhances the wine’s mineral and saline character.
