The range of wines from Domaine Schieferkopf is mainly composed of Rieslings. This was one of the dreams of the famous Rhône winemaker Michel Chapoutier. The Schieferkopf Riesling Via Saint Jacques is made from grapes grown in the communes of Bernardvillé and Reichsfeld in Alsace, at about 380 metres altitude. It presents a fruity and spicy nose with apple and cinnamon notes, along with a honeyed touch, and on the palate it is complex and straightforward.
