Description

This Serra Mãe Reserva is a truly indulgent wine – it’s as if it’s had a lengthy conversation with a sultan of almonds. The extended fermentation in 600-litre Slavonian barrels with *battônage* – a delightful tradition – has bestowed upon it a remarkable, almost luxurious texture, like a superbly crafted almond cream. Twelve months aging in French oak have then polished it to a gleaming finish. Absolutely divine with a grilled white fish or, naturally, with a classic bacalhau à Brás.
