The Quinta do Olival da Murta has, since its inception, a history of grape and wine production. With a climate shaped by the Atlantic and the nearby Serra de Montejunto, the estate is located in the Óbidos sub‑region, one of the nine origin designations of the “Lisbon Wine Region.” This area is known for aromatic red wines rich in tannins and capable of long bottle aging, as well as a wide range of fresh, balanced whites. Serra Oca wines are made from Portuguese grape varieties using low‑intensity viticulture and no synthetic chemicals. Harvesting is manual, and the grapes are vinified simply with naturally occurring yeasts, giving priority to time as the key factor for wine quality. (Illustrative image only)
