As if that weren’t enough, a patient aging *sur lie* has only deepened the flavour profile, earning it a remarkable 86 points from *Revista de Vinhos*. It’s a rustic beast best enjoyed alongside a generous slab of aged cheese and some wonderfully dried figs – a pairing that perfectly captures the spirit of the Douro.
