This Sopas Reserva is clearly a wine that’s been enjoying a long nap – the deep ruby colour is frankly astonishing. Fermented in granite lagares, it delivers a wonderfully complex aroma of ripe fruit, laced with a delightful spice. The texture is generous, and the finish, carrying hints of French oak, would be exceptional with a slow-roasted cut of beef.
