Springfield The Work of Time emulates the crafting of a Bordeaux in South African terroir. The classic French varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot were planted over 20 years ago on the Robertson estate. They yield a classic red with notes of cassis, smoke and a hint of green pepper, delivering a mature, structured palate. The wine holds ample potential for ageing.
