This Tricot from the Alentejo is the result of a harvest so painstakingly done – even the 15kg crates seem to have been carefully selected! It’s a wine brimming with charm. The Touriga Nacional, blended with these incredibly old vines, delivers a remarkable balance, a feat only achieved through extended post-fermentation maceration. The 30% of new oak adds a bright burst of fresh fruit and subtle spice, while the remaining 70% of used barrels contribute a lovely depth and a touch of wood, making it a perfect match with grilled beef.
