Susana Esteban Alentejo DOC O Tira o Véu Branco 2022 O Tira o Véu Branco 2022 is sourced from an exceptional vineyard that is more than 85 years old, located on the Serra de São Mamede at about 700 m above sea level. It is a blend of traditional varieties from the region, reflecting the authenticity and character of this unique terroir. Winemaking took place in amphorae, with 30 % skin contact. In December of the same year the skins were removed, and the wine remained in the amphorae until July of the following year. During spring a natural flower veil formed on the surface—a rare and characteristic phenomenon of Jerez wines—which added to the wine’s uniqueness and complexity. **GRAPES** Blend of traditional varieties from the Serra de São Mamede. **HARVEST** Manual, in 20‑kg crates, with careful selection of grapes upon arrival at the cellar. **BOTTLING** 22 August 2024. **PRODUCTION** 2 650 bottles. **TOTAL ACIDITY** 5.7 g L⁻¹. **pH** 3.34. **Allergen information** Contains sulfites.
