The Taboadella Reserva Encruzado is a white wine that showcases the full nobility of the Encruzado grape, an indigenous variety of the Dão. Originating from high‑altitude vineyards planted on metamorphosed granite soils, it stands out for its elegance, firmness and remarkable depth. With a silky texture, linear structure and great precision, it blends freshness and complexity into a harmonious whole, revealing excellent bottle‑aging potential. In Silvã de Cima, beside the Taboadella vineyard, the press was built on a monolithic rocky outcrop, one of the oldest vinification traces in the Dão, contrasting with the contemporary cellar constructed from natural materials such as wood and cork, featuring a balcony that offers a single view of the magnificent lone patch of vines surrounded by a vast forest. Here, where past and future complement each other, wines are born in the vineyard and landscape, with the particular and patient care that allows us to recover from the past the essence of nature and project into the future great wines with remarkable typicity while maintaining the Dão's ancestral character.
