In Silvã de Cima, beside the Taboadella vineyard, a press is born on a monolithic rocky outcrop—one of the oldest viticultural relics in the Dão—contrasting with a contemporary wine‑cellar built from natural materials such as wood and cork. From its balcony you can catch a single view of the magnificent, unique vineyard spread, surrounded by a vast forest. Here, where past and future meet, wines are cultivated in both vine and landscape, nurtured with particular patience that lets us recover nature’s essence from history and project, into the future, great wines of remarkable typicity while preserving the Dão’s ancestral character.
