Founded in 1981, Herdade de Coelheiros is a family‑owned business that has earned recognition for producing wines of indisputable quality, both nationally and internationally. The estate covers 800 hectares, of which 50 are dedicated to vineyards. Located in the municipality of Arraiolos—known for its weavers who craft one of Portugal’s most beautiful traditional arts, the famous Arraiolos rugs—Herdade de Coelheiros chose to honor this land’s cultural identity on its wine labels, giving birth to the brand’s first wine in 1991.
